Mine was a much simpler time but I can assure you we knew how to have fun😉 People go on and on about the Cattle Raid of Cooley. You’d swear it was the only thing I did in my life🙄 I wanted to let the husband know who wore the trousers around our gaff. I think we established that. I got the bull big deal. Not too many have seen me in all my glory but I have to confess there is one spot in present day Dublin that sums that whole episode up quite well.
Not only because there were men fighting on my behalf which is something I always enjoyed but also because it displayed the life and times of CuChulainn. Not because I thought he was a great lad or anything but because it displays the end of his era.
